Punta Gorda Airport Parking

Punta Gorda Airport provides parking facilities for its passengers.

Before entering the parking lot, you will approach a gate. Once at the entrance, simply push the button on the machine for a ticket. Please keep this ticket as you will need it to exit.

Once at the exit gate, insert the ticket you received when entering the pay station. After inserting your ticket, the machine will provide your total parking cost.

Once your total is shown, insert your credit card into the machine to complete the payment.

Once payment is accepted, you will receive a receipt from the machine, and the gate arm will open.

Shuttles may provide transportation to and from some parking lots, particularly those farther from the terminal building.

Please note where you are picked up upon departure from the lot when shuttles are available in your parking location.

Passengers who want to park their car at the facility must ensure that they arrive earlier to have plenty of time to look for parking and avoid being late for their flight.

Account for human traffic and the possibility of high demand for parking lots during this period.

As an alternative, you may also try to look at nearby locations if there are parking lots by independent providers.

All parking at the Punta Gorda Airport is first come, first serve. Reserved parking is not available at this facility.

Short-term parking is located directly in front of the terminal building.

Long-Term Parking

Long-term parking is behind the short-term lot.

Electric Vehicles

PGD does not offer electric vehicle charging stations at this time.

Rates for Disabled Veterans

At PGD, parking is accessible to those who meet any or all of the following requirements:

• 100% disabled U.S. military veterans displaying a license plate for disabled veterans;
• an individual operating a vehicle with specialized equipment (i.e., ramps, lifts, foot or hands controls) for use by a person who has a disability;
• or displaying the Florida Toll Exemption permit

Your ticket must be validated before exiting the parking lot.

Parking Tips at Punta Gorda Airport

• Leave home and plan to arrive at the airport at least an hour earlier. In that way, you can potentially avoid the likelihood of driving around looking for parking availability. It could also delay your arrival at the departure gate promptly.
• Check out the airport’s map. Before leaving for the airport, familiarize yourself with terminals, gates, access roads, and parking locations.
• When traveling with a piece of luggage, be mindful of the distance between the parking location and the terminal gates. Also, look if there are shuttle buses available in your vicinity.
• Especially during the long holidays, rush hour, and high travel seasons, vehicles at the parking area may cause a jam at the bottleneck at the security checking area and the airport gates.
• When there are lots of passengers, this also means that the airport shuttle services are slow and overcrowded, packed with people and their luggage.
• Security measures can also inconvenience your schedule, and it’s hard to prepare for them.
• Maintenance and construction work can mean detours that you will have to take to get to your parking spot at the airport.
• When traveling with your vehicle to the airport, provide enough time to account for possible delays on the road.
